Frequently Asked Questions

What to Bring

  • Camera

  • Food

  • Beverages*

  • Sunscreen

  • Sunglasses

  • Clothing to Suit the Weather (It Is Always Cooler Out on the Water)

  • Non-Marking Sole Shoes with Good Traction (Ideally, Closed Toe)

  • Cooler/Container to Bring Your Fillets Home In. On an open center console charter fishing boat there is not a large amount of open deck space. Therefore please only bring one medium-sized cooler on your fishing charter.

Are you prone to Seasickness?

  • Checkout Mercury Marine's guide on Dealing with Seasickness. If you do not have a history of sea sickness you likely will be fine on the open center console fishing boats with outboard engines (no diesel fumes!).

All the fishing gear for your trip is provided, as well as bottled water.

*While alcoholic beverages are allowed, intoxication is not. Please avoid bringing hard alcohol. Thank you for exercising good judgment with respect to alcohol.

Please Note: If one of our rod and reel setups is dropped overboard by a member of your group, then replacement value for the setup will be added to the cost of your trip.

Is there a Bathroom aboard the boat?

We suggest using the bathroom before the trip which is located at the Marina. In case of emergencies we do have a brand new porta potty onboard.

Can I Keep my fish?

Yes, you can keep your catch as long as its legal size.  We will expertly fillet your fish, or dress them however

you would like.  You will receive your cleaned and filleted catch in a Ziplock bag ready to freeze or be cooked.

Are Kids allowed on the boat?

YES! We encourage you to bring children as long as they wear life jackets that are fitted and supplied by the clients. Please let the captain know ahead of time if you cannot find a lifejacket for your child.
